Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key operator in the Cast House and Control Room for running the Blast Furnace.
- Oversee the blow-in process of the Blast Furnace.
- Continuously monitor raw material analysis, moisture analysis, and take corrective measures for any deviations.
- Maintain the thermal regime of the furnace and implement corrective actions if necessary.
- Ensure the smooth running of the Blast Furnace and optimize coke rate, slag rate, basicity, burden permeability, and gas utilization.
- Manage cast house and ladle operations.
- Optimize the furnace’s operational parameters, including coke rate, slag rate, slag basicity, permeability, and gas efficiency.
- Monitor temperature and pressure profiles across different sections of the furnace and take corrective actions as needed.
- Oversee the operations of auxiliary units like GCP, SGP, SH, STOVE, PCI, and BLT.
JSW Steel Jobs Qualifications:
- Minimum 12 years of experience in Blast Furnace operations with a minimum capacity of 1000m³.
- Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy or Diploma in Metallurgy.
