JSW recruitment 2024– Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer with expertise in Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) plants. JSW Steel is seeking skilled professionals to lead the Mechanical Maintenance team at our Sambalpur facility in Odisha. Industry: Steel – Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) Plant

JSW recruitment 2024 About the Role:

As the Head of Mechanical Maintenance for our coal-based DRI plant (1.5 MTPA capacity), you will oversee all mechanical equipment and systems within the facility. Your key responsibilities include:

Developing and implementing maintenance strategies to ensure peak equipment performance and reliability.
Managing and controlling mechanical operations to deliver cost-effective, proactive maintenance and engineering services.
Driving operational excellence through strategies such as TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and 5S Workplace Management.
Supporting corporate objectives by ensuring that all mechanical systems are operating efficiently to meet production needs.

JSW recruitment 2024 Educational Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 20 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within the steel industry, particularly in DRI plants.
Hands-on experience in mechanical operations and a deep understanding of DRI production and maintenance processes.

JSW Career Skills & Requirements:

Strong leadership and managerial skills to lead and guide the mechanical maintenance team.
Proven ability to drive operational efficiency and ensure equipment reliability.
Expertise in implementing TPM / 5S / Workplace Management strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across departments.
