About the Role:
Aditya Birla Group is looking for a seasoned professional to take on the role of Section Head – Mechanical for our Caustic Plant. If you have a passion for engineering and a strong background in mechanical maintenance, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Management: Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize production downtime caused by mechanical failures.
- Troubleshooting: Conduct fault-finding and troubleshooting exercises for mechanical equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure safety measures for all protective equipment, including lifting tools and tackles.
- Coordination: Work closely with the Materials Department, contractors, and other departments to schedule material procurement and work execution.
- Documentation: Maintain ISO 9000, ISO 14001, SA 8000, and OHSAS 18001 documentation, including logbooks, equipment history, and preventive maintenance check sheets.
- Efficiency Improvement: Calculate efficiency and effectiveness parameters, and adopt best practices of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) in all work areas.
Qualifications:
- Education: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 10-12 years in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a similar industry.
