The Odisha Police Constable Recruitment 2024 has extended the application deadline for the Constable/Sepoy Recruitment 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can now apply for 1,360 vacant positions through the official website, odishapolice.gov.in, until October 30, 2024. Previously, the deadline for submitting applications was October 13. This extension has been announced in an official notification from the State Selection Board (SSB), Odisha.

Odisha Police Constable Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
- The candidate must be between 18 to 23 years of age as of January 1, 2024.
- Age relaxation will be provided for reserved category candidates.
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed Class 10 or an equivalent examination from a recognized institution.
- Odia must be one of the subjects in the qualifying exam.
- Applicants must be Indian nationals with good character, sound health, and no physical deformities or organic issues.
As per the SSB Odisha guidelines, candidates can apply under only one battalion. Women, transgender individuals, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities are not eligible to apply for these posts.

- Upload the necessary documents and submit the form.

Odisha Police Constable Recruitment 2024: Selection Process
The selection process includes four stages:
- Written Examination (100 marks, 2 hours)
- One mark for each correct answer.
- 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
- No penalty for unanswered questions.
- Physical Efficiency Test
- Driving Test
- Medical Examination
