Mechanical Engineering Job Description:

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

Proficient in 3D modeling and drafting using Solidworks.
Special Purpose Machine (SPM) design experience includes:
- Concept design of SPMs.
- Pneumatic and bearing selections for machines.
- Material selections for machine components.
Knowledge in manufacturing processes:
- Sheetmetal.
- Welding.
- Machining.
- Heat & Surface Treatment.
Excellent knowledge of geometrical tolerances and dimensions.
Knowledge of bought-out components for machines (motors, cylinders, actuators).
Experience in Teamcentre (PLM).
