Position: Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Quality Assurance
Location: Foundry Division, Peekay Steel Castings Pvt Ltd, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu
Experience: 7 – 15 Years

Job Opportunity at Peekay Steel Castings Pvt Ltd– Roles & Responsibilities:
- Review and approve daily chemical and mechanical properties, providing feedback to the QAM.
- Control properties of Chemistry through daily heat plan review and approval.
- Verify Spectro Type and global standards.
- Review and approve HTM advice, logs, and charts daily, providing feedback to the QAM.
- Ensure quality during special cycles like Duplex and Nickel alloys.
- Review and approve radiation reports.
- Review and approve incoming raw materials.
- Ensure preventive maintenance for all lab equipment.
- Follow up on the calibration of foundry instruments.
- Maintain documents related to acid pickling, passivation, and ferroxyl testing.
- Respond to customer queries.
- Maintain all lab-related documents.
- Review and approve work orders for all customers.
- Prepare ITP based on customer requirements.
- Qualify certifications for API20A & NORSOK.
- Discuss special grades (4A, 5A, 6A, and Nickel alloy) and 3.2 inspection details with QA head.
- Coordinate with the pattern shop, methods, and development for integral test blocks and special marking requirements.
- Approve order shifting and internal work orders.
- Support the manager for QMS and customer audits.
- Handle NABL qualification and documentation.
- Possess knowledge in the casting process.
