Overview:
This position requires thorough planning and execution skills with cross-functional teams through effective project management to achieve the strategic objectives of the organization. The role includes proactive benchmarking, planning, research, feasibility studies, and market analysis to support strategic developments while ensuring alignment with MIEPL’s strategic goals. Additionally, the position will lead the annual business planning and the development of 5-year mid-term strategic plans.
Key Result Areas/Accountabilities:
- Strategy Review: Analyze, consolidate, communicate, and dive deep for material insights regarding the organization’s goals.
- Trend Analysis: Analyze technological, legal, sociological, political, and economic trends in the Iron & Steel industry and apply learnings.
- Benchmarking & Competitive Analysis: Perform competitive analysis relative to global organizations.
- Project Management:
- Prepare, drive, and monitor the implementation of new projects and strategic initiatives by defining the project charter and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis.
- Review post-implementation performance to capture learnings and propose improvements.
- Monitor end-to-end activities related to different projects.
Education Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
- B.Tech + MBA (Marketing/Finance) from a Tier 1/2 institute.
- Total 10-15 years of experience in the Iron & Steel industry.

- Business Acumen: Understanding of business operations and market dynamics.
- Planning: Ability to develop detailed and effective plans.
- Strategy Modeling & Analysis: Proficiency in strategy formulation and analytical assessment.
- Analytical Skills: Strong capability to analyze data and trends.
