Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a key operator in the Cast House and Control Room for running the Blast Furnace.
Oversee the blow-in process of the Blast Furnace.
Continuously monitor raw material analysis, moisture analysis, and take corrective measures for any deviations.
Maintain the thermal regime of the furnace and implement corrective actions if necessary.
Ensure the smooth running of the Blast Furnace and optimize coke rate, slag rate, basicity, burden permeability, and gas utilization.
Manage cast house and ladle operations.
Optimize the furnace’s operational parameters, including coke rate, slag rate, slag basicity, permeability, and gas efficiency.
Monitor temperature and pressure profiles across different sections of the furnace and take corrective actions as needed.
Oversee the operations of auxiliary units like GCP, SGP, SH, STOVE, PCI, and BLT.

JSW Steel Jobs Qualifications:

Minimum 12 years of experience in Blast Furnace operations with a minimum capacity of 1000m³.
Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy or Diploma in Metallurgy.
